enhancing spatial function.

What
"you" need to know
- Even
the smallest of areas require a minimum of 3 days overall,
due to drying time involved in the Lazure method. Weather,
heat, dampness...these environmental factors can also
affect this drying time.
- Work
begins once the design objectives and color decisions
have been agreed upon. Lazure is an intuitive/practical
process and as such the design evolves as color is applied
in multiple layers.
- Areas
to be Lazured need to be primed and undercoated to specifications
supplied by the artist. In some cases, this service can
be offered by the artist.
What
"we" need to know
- All
of your design objectives and parameters.
-
Number of rooms and square footage of all surfaces to
be Lazured.
-
If there are corridors (hallways), ceilings, stairways
involved.
- Condition
of existing space, whether or not it is cleared of furnishings
at the commencement of the project.
- Compatibility
requirements - furnishings, flooring, lighting...natural
or artificial.
Fees
and Materials
The
artists base fee is $500 per day plus materials. Outside the Chicago area,
there will be charges for transportation, lodging, rental car when necessary and per diem ($75/day).
Generally, a minimum of one day travel will be charged as
a work day. This point must be agreed upon in the contract.
