Learn
about the exciting lazure painting method
> about on-site building structural design and the potential
for enhancement through the use of translucent color, from
workshop leader John Stolfo, owner/operator of Studio Aurora in Chicago.
The
workshops can include a slide lecture presentation of lazure painting
examples which demonstrates how architecture is enhanced and
in some cases transformed through the use of the lazure method.
-
Workshops are designed for a range of 12 to 15 participants, with a maximum of 25
in 3- to 5-day sessions, (generally 8-hour days).
-
The workshop fee per person is $300 for a 3- to 4-day workshop, plus materials.
Details should be discussed for each individual venue. In the case of workshops in a residential
venue, the homeowner should cover the entire material cost, otherwise the participants may need to contribute individually. All Worksite
coordinators should help in providing necessary paint gear, such as
ladders, scaffolding, drop
clothes, clean buckets, etc., and access to clean water.
-
Workshops
out of the Chicago area will also include expenses for John's
travel, lodging costs and a per diem fee.
-
Meals
should be arranged by the venue hosts or by individual
participants.
